To use the Sylvania SHP-TS Growlux Bulb you’ll want to start by screwing the lamp into the E40 fixture of your reflector. However, when holding your lamp it is important that you do not touch the glass. Fingerprints on the glass of your bulb can cause degradation of your lamps efficiency. Therefore, we recommend that you hold your lamp with a cloth instead. After that connect your bulb to your reflector and ballast and switch the system on. You are able to use this bulb as a complete or additional lamp for artificial lighting of your plants.
