What is the SMS SPC Fan Controller MK2 used for?

This fan controller builds on everything that made the original model so great! This time though it’s far more compact and features a very attractive outer housing. This model uses pulse width modulation to reduce the fan speed. Therefore it does not generate the same level of humming you would normally associate with these type of fan controllers.

Furthermore, this model doesn’t just use one pre-set speed. Instead, it gradually adjusts the fan speed to gently react to the changing environment. Plus this also helps to avoid drastic spikes in temperatures. This controller will power two fans up to a combined 16 amps.

How to use the SMS SPC Fan Controller MK2                                      

This is extremely easy to use, simply start by plugging your intake fan into the plug socket on the left and your extraction into the right-hand side socket. After that, set the minimum speed with the left-hand dial. This will set the lowest idle speed you want the fans to run at. Then use the right-hand dial to set the maximum fan speed. Once the minimum and maximum speeds have been set you’ll need to set the temperature using the middle dial. This system will even maintain negative air pressure in your grow room and balance it to provide the perfect growing environment.
