What is Shogun Fertilisers Calmag used for?

This is a powerful plant additive which is for use alongside your base nutrient formula. It’s especially useful during the late vegetative stages of plant growth and right up until flowering. This contains a fantastic blend of nitrogen, calcium and magnesium which is essential for boosting the process of photosynthesis. Without this much-needed supply of magnesium, you’ll find your plants suffering from lack of energy, making your indoor lighting system virtually ineffective.

Furthermore, the calcium within this increases the overall thickness of your plant’s cell walls. This solution will help your plants to achieve their overall growth potential. This will help your plants avoid any deficiencies and ensure they take full advantage of every essential nutrient.

How to use Shogun Fertilisers Calmag…

You can apply this nutrient alongside your normal base nutrient during the vegetative stage right through to flowering. However, we do recommend that you stop using it before the final flush. To use this simply add 1ml per 1 litre of solution. Although, we do recommend that you keep a close eye on the pH and check the EC levels of the solution too.

You may also use this as a foliar feed, fill your sprayer with around 10-15ml of this per 1 litre of solution. Only use foliar feeds during the lights off period.

Please be aware that you should not mix nutrients together in their concentrated form. Instead, always add each nutrient to your hydroponic system in turn. Always mix well before adding another nutrient too.
