The PA Golf Ball Airstone is an affordable and efficient way of quickly improving oxygen levels within your growing environment. This is fantastic for those of you using hydroponic reservoir systems and bubbler systems, to improve the oxygen content in water tanks. Likewise, this features a 6mm intake fitting to connect easily to your airline. You should use this alongside your airline and air pump to create a tank aeration kit. You can also use these as an addition to your Deep Water Culture Systems to provide the best environment for root growth.

Furthermore, these will also help to boost nutrient uptake and enhance cell growth. Providing more oxygen in the root zone also prevents your nutrient solution from stagnating, preventing problems and deficiencies such as Pythium.

Where can you use the PA Golf Ball Airstone?

This accessory is specifically for use within deep water culture, bubbler and hydroponic reservoir systems. It can be used within the water tanks of these systems to provide more oxygen. Similarly, it is perfect for airflows of 1.5 – 5 litres per minute and smaller tanks and bubblers up to 30 litres in volume. It’s also perfect for those of you using IWS Oxypot Systems.

How to use the PA Golf Ball Airstone                                       

There are numerous ways to install your PA Golf Ball Airstone within your water tank. You can simply suspend the airstone or allow it to sit at the bottom of your water tank. You’ll need to ensure that you have an airflow rate of up to 5 litres per minute running through each stone. If you have an airflow rate greater than this you may want to try a ceramic disc instead. You’ll also need one piece of the airline for each stone, those of you running multiple airstones from one pump will need to use a manifold.
