What is the MaxiBright Digilight Duo Power Pack used for?

This ballast uses Flip/Flop Technology to provide better flexibility when powering grow room lighting. The Duo features 6 adjustable settings, manual primary output and secondary output settings. Plus, an automatic 12-hour flip/flop setting and an automatic 1-hour flip/flop setting. Likewise, you can use one Duo ballast to run two separate grow rooms.

Although, if you want to run two lamps within one grow room, simply choose the manual primary/secondary output setting. Or select the automatic 1-hour flip/flop setting. You can use this one-hour flip/flop setting to power your lights for short periods. This will help to reduce high temperatures within your grow room.

Where can you use the MaxiBright Digilight Duo Power?

The MaxiBright Digilight Duo Power Packs have been developed with the new Surge Control® software. This reduces electrical surges when more than one power pack is started from the same power supply. The ballast will gently start your lamps with a low current to improve lamp life. This power pack will run both high-pressure sodium and metal halide lamps and you are easily able to mount it on your wall. 

Plants need a regulated day and night cycle. Therefore, these ballasts feature a fast restrike to reduce damage caused by your plant lighting. Furthermore, they also include a dynamic frequency control for any changes in voltage. When powering your ballast through a mains supply you may come across changes in voltage. Therefore this technology ensures that the ballast maintains lamp output to minimise light flickering.

How to use the MaxiBright Digilight Duo Power Pack                                 

You can use the MaxiBright Digilight Duo Power Pack to run two grow rooms on an alternating 12-hour cycle. The 1-hour flip/flop setting will allow you to reduce lamp heat and grow room temperature when powering two lamps within one grow room. These power packs are perfect for growers lookings for a silent, light-weight and flexible system.
