What is a LUMii Solar 630w CDM Twin Fixture?

When it comes to quality, not a lot of full fixtures can rival the LUMii Solar 630w CDM Twin Fixture. Combined the fixture with HPS lighting and you have a fixture that can improve plant growth and increase yield size.

Made with a ceramic arc tube instead of the traditional material quartz, the LUMii Solar can operate effectively and efficiently at high temperature. When the gases within the bulb are ignited, the light emitted offers a fuller spectrum of light that increases growth and plant health. This light is then efficiently reflected down to plants thanks to the specially made dimpled reflector.

How to use the LUMii Solar 630w CDM Twin Fixture

To use the LUMii Solar 630w simple hang the fixture in the middle of your grow space at an appropriate level for your growing needs. Next, securely screw in the grow light bulb as tight as possible by using a cloth or failing that with the grow lightbox. This stops grease build-up and reduces the chance your grow light bulb will fail. Once the bulb is secure in the fixture, connect the input lead of your reflector to the output lead of the ballast, making sure it isn’t too tight as this can damage the connection.

WARNING – Always make sure the wattage of your ballast matches the wattage of your grow light bulb as an incorrect wattage can increase the risk of malfunctions and fires. Also when you first use the fixture and bulb, make sure to leave it on for at least 15 minutes as this allows the metals within the bulb to fuse correctly.
