What is the Fox RVK Acoustic Ducting Filter Kit used for?

This complete kit gives growers more control over their indoor growing environment. Using a Carbon Filter will help to improve the quality of air within your grow room. These Fox Carbon Filters are quickly becoming the number one choice for indoor gardeners who want to remove particles and odours from their grow room. When growing indoors, a certain level of odour is created, subsequently, this odour may or may not bring unwanted attention to your grow room. When using a Carbon Filter, there is no need to worry about this odour. This is because the activated carbon inside the air filter attracts and removes any offending molecules which your plants create.

Furthermore, you’ll also receive a Fox Inline Fan, made to circulate air within your grow room. Our Fox Inline Fans are at the cutting edge of hydroponic environmental control. Built from a strong and lightweight aluminium made to circulate large volumes of air around a grow room whilst producing little to no noise. Therefore, providing plants with the optimal growing environment, allowing them to produce large and healthy yields.

The Fox Acoustic Ducting helps to significantly reduce airborne noises and smells that are produced by indoor gardeners grow room. This range of Acoustic Ducting consists of three layers. The inner and outer layers are made out of lightweight aluminium ducting which is houses a layer of strong fibreglass. As air is passed down the ducting via the connected fan, it reacts to crinkles within the outer wall, which subsequently produces airborne noise. Unlike other types of ducting, the middle layer of fibreglass prevents these airborne noises escaping. Therefore, reducing the noise produced by up to 80% in comparison with standard types of ducting.

How to use the Fox RVK Acoustic Ducting Filter Kit

Start by connecting around 8 inches of ducting to your Inline Fan, this will connect your fan and filter together. Then, hang both your fan and filter, you may want to invest in some Jack Chain to suspend it securely. Then, you’ll want to make sure you connect everything tightly with the ducting clips supplied to that the air transports out of your grow tent. Once everything is secure you can turn the system on.
