What is the Euro Standard Reflector used for?

The Euro Standard Reflector is great value for money for both professional and non-professional growers on a budget. It features a V-ridge along the top and silver dimpled wings for excellent reflectivity. Likewise, this also increases light dispersion and reduces the number of hotspots within your grow room.

Furthermore, the Euro HPS grow light reflector includes a ceramic lamp holder to increase durability and reliability. Similarly, this also improves the heat resistance of the fixture too. You’ll find that this reflector is easy to hang within your grow room using the 2 convenient tabs on the top of the reflector.

Where can you use the Euro Standard Reflector?

The Euro Standard Reflector is designed for use with any horizontally mounted HPS or MH lamp up to and including 600w. However, be aware that it will no be suitable for use with 1000w HID lamps. They are easy to hang within your grow room, although be careful as when HID lamps are switched on they will run extremely hot.

How to use the Euro Standard Reflector                                      

When using this within your indoor grow room, simply hang it in the centre of the room at an appropriate hight. To hang the reflector you may want to use either Rope Ratchets or Jack Chain.  Then, hold your lamp with a clean cloth and insert it into the E40 fixture on the reflector, making sure you screw it in firmly. Finally, plug the lead into an appropriate ballast that matches the wattage of your lamp. For example, if using a 400w lamp, use a 400w ballast. Then you can turn the system in and watch your plants bloom!
