The IWS DWC Control Unit Inc. Timer is perfect for growers wanting to grow using a Deep Water Culture hydroponic system. Deep Water Culture is a method of growing that leaves your root system submerged in a highly oxygenated nutrient solution which encourages rapid growth and leads to healthy flowering and heavy fruiting. Likewise, this unit is fed by a reservoir and has been designed to fill all the connected pots to 25mm below the root zone. Therefore providing the perfect level for optimum root growth. This system also uses a single air-pump with manifold to regulate air-flow to each pot.

Furthermore, when the solution is pumped back into the tank it is mixed with any remaining nutrient solution, cooling it down before pumping it back into the pots. To gain the best results, we recommend that you drain and fill the system 3 times per day.

How to use the DWC Control Unit Inc. Timer                                

The IWS DWC systems are for use on a flat surface, to assemble your system start by attaching two threaded straights to each of the pots. You’ll want to use the elbow fittings at the end of each line of pots. Next, place the lid on the pot and then the basket in the lid, placing your pots in the position they will be used. After that, connect the pots together using the 25mm pipe. Connect the elbow at the end of each line to a 25mm threaded tee. Then fasten the M25 – 16mm reducer to the threaded part of the 25mm tee. Using the 16mm flexi pipe, connect the control tap and filter inline from the 16mm part of the reducer. Finally, run the 16mm flexi pipe towards the control unit and connect the water butt to the control unit.
