What is the DimLux Expert Series 315w Full Spectrum used for?

The DimLux Expert Series 315w Full Spectrum is a complete reflector which includes the Alpha Optics reflector. This reflector features with Miro Silver Mirrors. As a result, you’ll achieve the highest possible efficiency of all available horticulture reflectors.

Furthermore, it also features adjustable side reflectors for better overlap and to minimise wall loses. Due to the open design of the reflector, the lamp is passively cooled which is a benefit for the life and efficiency of the lamp. There is a 50mm socket on the reflector which significantly reduces the room temperature by actively extracting the air. There are also optional add-on reflectors available which you can place around to minimise the wall loss even more. This reflector is replaceable.

How to use the DimLux Expert Series 315w Full Spectrum

When using the DimLux Expert Series 315w Full Spectrum please ensure that the lamp has been burning for at least 5 minutes before you turn off the power. Short On/Off cycles can shorten the lifespan of the lamp. When mounting your fixture, there are indicators on the top rail of each fixture to help you mount the fixing brackets in the correct place. When installing your fixture make sure that the contactors and timers match loads of the ballast, especially if you are using the DimLux Maxi Controller. There is a simple and unique way to determine the minimum height of the reflector. Simply, the shortest distance from reflector to crop is minimum half the distance between the other reflectors in a multi-lamp setup. It doesn’t matter if the lamp is 400w or 1000w.
