This CO2 Sensor detects levels of carbon dioxide within your growing area. It then relays this information back to your central Dimlux controller. Therefore providing growers with a detailed review of their growing environment.

What is the CO2 Sensor for Maxi Controller used for?

Using this with your Maxi Controller will ensure that levels are optimised at all times. It helps growers to minimise wastage and in turn maximise plant growth and photosynthesis. Featuring a built-in light cell which will turn the system off during the lights off period. It is incredibly important for growers to control the amount of CO2 available in their grow room. This is especially so in closed-loop environments. They are a great addition to your climate control system, and the results you’ll achieve are outstanding!

Furthermore, this sensor also utilises the Dual Beam NDIR technology which helps to deliver incredible accuracy and stability. These Dual Beam Sensors are two sensors in one which measure and adjust your grow room environment.

How to use the CO2 Sensor for Maxi Controller

To use this sensor as part of your Maxi Controller system you’ll need to start by hanging it in the upper canopy area, at near enough the same height as your plants. Likewise, you’ll also need to make sure that the light cell is exposed to light, or else it will not switch off automatically during dark periods. Plus, the CO2 sensor has a built-in 2-pin plug which comes with a 2 or 3 pin adapter. Therefore you can plug it into a UK mains supply. The 2 pin socket located on the front of the sensor, powers the Dimlux CO2 regulator, which releases more CO2 automatically, as and when needed. You’ll need to calibrate the sensor using your Maxi Controller. Do this by positioning the sensor outside and taking a reading. We recommend that the correct level should read 400ppm, therefore adjust it accordingly.
