What are the Carbon Dioxide Tablets Used For?

Carbon Dioxide is extremely important for plant growth and development. It’s an integral part of photosynthesis, as plants absorb CO2 from the atmosphere. These tablets dissolve in water and which your plant’s roots absorb. Therefore helping you to grow stronger and healthier plants. It is crucially important to add CO2 during the lights-on period. This is because the light energy will help to divide the carbon dioxide and oxygen, to form the essential sugars of photosynthesis. With these tablets, plants are able to absorb much more CO2 than what is available to them naturally.

How to use Carbon Dioxide Tablets

To use these tablets, we recommend that you use 1 tablet per 100 litres of water, especially in hydro systems. All you need to do is add it to the nutrient tank. However, please be aware that overdosing your plants on CO2 is neither helpful or harmful. We suggest that you use the tablets twice a week for the best results, throughout the growing cycle. Although, if your nutrient tank holds less than 100 litres, or you are hand feeding a few small plants then half or quarter the tablets.
