The AQUAvalve cover allows growers to create their own basic, yet extremely effective hydroponics system, when used alongside the AQUAvalve.

The AQUAvalve should be placed in a flat tray or any shape or size, then you can place the cover over it. This cover is made from a heavy composite material, so there is no need to place any weight on top of it to hold it down. Then, all that’s left to do it connect the AQUAvalve to a tank, using a 6mm length of pipe and a filter.

For those of you making your own hydroponic hobby system please ensure that the tray is as level as possible. Therefore, you may want to use a spirit level to test it. Likewise, you’ll want to make sure that the pot size it no smaller than 5 litres. Otherwise you’ll risk the chance of drowning your plants. Small plants in small pots will not adapt well to being sat in deep water. The root system will not be able to breathe.
