600W Dimmable Ballast

Made out of the latest tough and durable material, the 600w Digital Ballast is one of the most popular ballasts on the market today. Digital Ballasts are fairly new on the market, meaning they include new and more effective technology. Digital Ballasts do away with steel plates and copper wires, instead using electronic circuitry and microprocessors. This solid-state electronic circuitry and microprocessors mean the ballasts can be customised to create the optimal levels for different types of lamp and different wattage. This also means that Digital Ballasts are smaller and lighter than their older counterparts.

Euro Reflector

Our Euro Grow Light Reflector is quite simply a great budget reflector at a great price. Simple but effective design, Highly reflective dimpled wings and includes a ceramic lamp-holder. Ideal for 250W-600W HID (HPS or MH) lamps.The Euro Reflector is a value-for-money reflector for first-time growers or more experienced gardeners on a budget. It has a V-ridge along the top and silver dimpled wings for excellent reflectivity, light dispersion and reduction of hot-spots. The Euro HPS grow light reflector has a ceramic lamp-holder for reliability and heat-resistance and has 2 convenient tabs on the top for easy hanging. It is an excellent no-frills product where cost is a major concern.

Using the Euro Grow Light Reflector:
The Euro Reflector is designed for use with any horizontally mounted HPS or MH lamp up to and including 600W. It is not suitable for use with 1000W HID lamps. Simply hang the HPS grow light reflector over the centre of the grow-space at an appropriate height using easy rolls or jack chain. Holding your lamp with a clean cloth insert it into the E40 lamp-holder in the Euro Reflector and screw it in very firmly. Plug the lead into an appropriate ballast for HPS/MH type bulbs or an IEC (kettle type) mains lead for fluorescent type bulbs and switch on.
Warning: When HID lamps are switched on they run extremely hot. As with all high pressure sodium and metal halide bulbs it is necessary to avoid touching the lamp with anything such as fingers or plants as this may cause severe burns or fires. In particular, avoid sprays or liquids coming into contact with the lamp as this may cause premature failure or even an explosion.
