What is the 3ml Pipette used for?

The 3ml Pipette helps growers to accurately measure out their liquid solutions. It is an essential tool for any grower, featuring 0.5ml markings, making it easier for growers to measure small amounts of nutrient solutions. Likewise, it is made out of high-quality and plastic, featuring a small nozzle and a squeezy top to suck the liquid into the tube. For most liquids, it can take a short while to completely stop drawing up liquids. You should then remove the nozzle end of the pipette from the liquid and the nozzle will retain this liquid inside of the tube. Therefore, preventing it from dripping out. You can then add the measured liquid to your hydroponic reservoir by squeezing the top end again.

How to use the 3ml Pipette                                       

This is specifically for use for measuring out small amounts of liquids and can be reused again and again. Likewise, this contains no rubber so you are able to use this with caustic liquids, strong alkalis and acids. However, it is important that after using it, you ensure that it is always thoroughly clean to prevent cross-contamination. For example, mixing water with a concentrated acid will cause a reaction. If you are using thicker nutrient solutions we recommend that instead of using a pipette, you use a syringe or measuring beaker.
