How to use the Sunmaster 600w Super Lumen HPS Lamp                   

To use this lamp start by holding it with a clean cloth and screw it into the E40 fitting on your reflector. It is important that your lamp is completely clean and free of dirt before switching it on. Similarly, when screwing the lamp in, make sure you screw it tightly otherwise a loose connection may cause your lamp to arc. After that, connection your reflector cable to your 600w HPS ballast. However, make sure that the wattage of your ballast and your lamp match. If they do not match then you’ll over-power your lamp and risk a fire.

Please be careful when using these lamps, HPS lamps have a tendency to run very hotly. Therefore it is highly important that you do not touch the lamp when it is on. Instead, wait for the lamp to cool down.
