Furthermore, these CDM fixtures utilise ceramic-discharge metal halide lamp to produce a light spectrum that far broader than other forms of HID lighting. Likewise, its output is more efficient and more useable during the blooming stage of growth.

Where can you use the Omega 315w CDM Lamp?

This specific lamp is only for use with 315w CDM ballasts and reflectors. In fact when used with Omega Lighting’s advanced super lumen technology ballasts, these lamps are able to produce additional wattage. Similarly, increasing the output will not affect the lifespan of the bulb.

How to use the Omega 315w CDM Lamp                                   

When inserting the lamp into a CDM lamp holder, you may notice that there are two pins at the bottom of the lamp. Each of these pins has a different endpoint – one is a complete circle and the other is a half circle. These must match up with the corresponding grooves in the lamp holder. If you force this connection, you will break the lamp fixture.

However, these lamps have an incredibly high output, therefore it is important that you ensure there is adequate shielding in place to protect from skin burn or eye inflammation.
