The HX-800 Water Pump is an incredibly versatile pumps allow large quantities of air to mix with water whilst the pump is in use, increasing the concentration of oxygen to improve plant growth.

What is the HX-800 Water Pump used for?

This pump is suitable for hydroponics, ponds, tanks and general use, they can even work in low water! They feature fully adjustable low rate regulators and sufficiently mix water and oxygen to produce the best quality possible. Likewise, the integral suction cup mounting feet allow you to easily place the pump on the side of hydroponic tanks.

Furthermore, these pumps work extremely well even in low water levels, making them ideal for pumping nutrients in NFT/ Flood & Drain Applications.

Where can you use the HX-800 Water Pump?

These pumps are specifically for use within hydroponic reservoir systems and are designed for continuous use. This particular model will transport 285 litres per hour through its 13mm supply or flexible pipe.

How to use the HX-800 Water Pump                                     

It’s important to know exactly how much water you need in your system and how quickly you need to cycle the water through your system. We recommend that you do a full cycle at least every 2 hours. Therefore, this should allow enough flexibility, plus you’ll be able to easily alter and reduce water flow from a pump if you need to. You can easily do this by adding in a ‘T’ connector to the tubing going to your plants within your hydroponics system.

However, when cleaning the pump and filter we recommend that you do a full clean after every nutrient change. Simply do a clean using clean soapy water and a sponge or brush.
