How Does Fox Acoustic Ducting Work?

Fox’s range of Acoustic Ducting consists of three layers which help reduce airborne noises and smells. The inner and outer layers are made out of lightweight aluminium ducting which is housing a layer of fibreglass. As air is passed down the ducting via the connected fan, it reacts to crinkles within the outer wall, which subsequently produces airborne noise.

Unlike other types of ducting, the middle layer of fibreglass prevents these airborne noises escaping. This can reduce the noise produced by up to 80% compared to standard types of ducting.
