What is the Duct Y Piece used for?

The Duct Y Piece is one of the simplest ways to split ducting within extraction systems off into two directions. Y pieces can be easily connected to the ducting within your extraction system and are very easy to fit. Likewise, they are designed from extremely tough steel making them highly robust and durable.

Furthermore, it is important to know that when using this to move air from two grow areas with a single duct fan you need to ensure that the pressures are correctly measured, inaccuracies will cause problems within your grow room.

Where can the Duct Y Piece be used?

The Duct Y Piece are great for professional indoor hydroponic reservoir systems, to attach them to your ducting simply use duct tape or a jubilee clip. However, please be aware that you will need to match the couplings correctly in order for this to work properly. For example female to female couplings join the pieces to ducting or other segments, any gaps can be sealed with duct tape.
