How to use the Bluelab Pulse Meter?

To set up your new Bluelab Pulse Meter, start by inserting the battery into the back of the device. Once you’ve placed a battery inside, the Pulse Meter should be active and sleep between measurements. Next, download the Pulse App, on the Google Play Store or Apple Store IOS. You’ll then need to connect your Pulse Meter to the App. When you first open the Pulse App, you will need to log in or sign up. Once you’ve completed this, you’ll need to select ‘All Pulse Meters in Bluetooth Range’ and your device should show under available devices.

To start measuring you’ll need to select the medium type you are using, as each medium behaves differently its important that you set the measurement correctly to ensure you get the correct reading. Once you’ve selected the medium, tap ‘send to device’ on the app and this will program the meter to the medium you are using. After that, you can insert the pulse meter probes into your growing medium, and press the measure button. The measurement should then appear in the app.
